Changing the World For One

We are an ordinary family.  Dad, Mom, and 3 wide open boys.  Matthew is a police officer.  Megan is a teacher.  We went to high school together and stayed in touch during college.  Our first date was in 2005.  We were married in 2009, welcomed Sammy in 2010, Brody in 2011, and Reed in 2014.  We are blessed with wonderful families, a loving church, and great friends.

We are an ordinary family.  We rush to church on Sunday mornings, to school and work during the week.  We are at soccer, wrestling, Boy Scouts, and more birthday parties than we can count.  We're sharing our best and worst parts of the day at dinner and playing board games in the living room before bed.  We're struggling to keep up with matching shoes and have given up on the socks.

We are an ordinary family.  We love to go on road trips, listen to music, and watch movies.  We read books together, laugh together, and cry together.  We have our good days and our bad.  We have days where everyone and everything goes together seamlessly and days where everyone seems to be on a different page.

We are an ordinary family.  But we have been given an extraordinary calling.  A calling that tugged at us for years and now we've finally taken a giant leap of faith and have answered the call.  Thank you for sharing in our journey!
